Hi, hour west of dalby QLD. Towards kogan, chinchilla area.

I'm going to throw a guess and say Chalcedony or Carnelean, the last one looks like quartz with a chip in it which can produce the rainbow reflection

I am certainly no expert but they look like they could be pieces of agate to me.

I thought agate too but went for a dig at the unknown. Lol. I recon it is agate as you can see where its been in contact with sedimentary like quartz

There's a fair bit to read on this forum, YouTube , Google and op-shops hold treasure and gem books if you get there on the right day.

Buying a book like Gemstones of QLD or a basic mineral guide you can flick through at home to read will get you started as well. Do a Google search and see if you have a local lapidary club, they can teach you everything too

Looks like some chalcedony i think... For it to be agate i believe it needs to show distinct banding.
The top rock with the vein in in almost looks like a jasper sample i have.
