New to this 4rum

Gday all , I am located in the mid north of S. Aust . and have been interested in this coloured stuff for a long time ,I own Fisher Gold Bug Pro and a Minelab Gpx 5000 at the moment and only have plans to cover the S.A. fields at this stage . Its not only the gold or the lack of it that interests me on old goldfields but I find the whole picture very interesting and photographing whats left of their dwellings ect is something else I look forward to while in these areas .
I am sure I will learn a lot on this forum and see if I can put some of into practice . Rob

Hi Rob, found this a couple of weeks ago ..Its my first SA gold..Though up until now haven't done much in SA..But while it's too hot to travel interstate,going to spend a bit of time looking when it's cool..You should do ok with that 5000..cheers..and welcome to the site..
