Hi guys, My real name is Matt and I am from Ulladulla, NSW. I am 37 years old, married and have 3 young boys (men). 
Very very new to this caper, having only panned for gold a total of two days and already finding small amounts of small gold at Mogo and Warri rest area (Shoalhaven). Must be doing something right. I haven't gotten into detecting at this stage but just finished making a small gold cradle which I am keen to give a run.
The info you guys have been providing is very helpful and any other info you can give me about areas around me would be much appreciated. Also, I have also taken a liking to Sapphires after watching Mal and Liz on youtube. Is there any chance that there are sapphires close to my location, as in within 1 hours drive from Ulladulla. I am thinking of making a weekend of it at Wee Jasper and GG at some point but any other info would be great.
Anyway, I've rambled on long enough. Thanks for the Forum and look forward to seeing you out there some day.
