Hey people me and my partner are getting into a bit of detecting we went out moliagul on the weekend but didnt find anything, anyone got any tips on maybe what to look for or any good places for a beginner maybe? Dont really qanna go to much further then moliagul

Hi Brenno, welcome, did you find anything (bullets etc) ?
As for locations the best way to find locations is research, there are a few good guides available at Minersden or Coiltek Maryborough.
There is still gold out there you just need to walk over it and spend some time researching.

What detector are you using?

Met some guys out detecting on the weekend looking for gold with a detector they purchased very cheap from China.
They could not even find a bullet.

suggestions:
1-Come along to one of the meet ups many of the forum members have during the year

2-Joining a club to get tips and locations.

3- Depending on your detector message me for a meet up.

4- Organise some training from either Coiltek or Miners den the benefit will be very evident very quickly.

5- Research research and more research
