Hi I am a newbie to this site, but have been on another site ALF for about seven years. I have been a keen gem collector since I was a kid, but have only got into it since I retired some ten years ago. I completed a Silversmith Course after I retired and after 2.5 years qualified as a Silver Smith, most of the gemstones I collect, I cab and set into rings or pendants, with three daughters it comes in handy at christmas time. I live on the far south coast of NSW and have found a lot of gems that are not suppose to be here. I look forward to being involved in this Forum.
