Im new to this site but I have a few inquiries Im looking at understanding that in the outer western Sydney area Penrith basin a correlation between the quarts and materials in this area and the potential that around the Nepean Valley area has for producing gold its a new concept no doubt that everyone is looking for areas closer to Sydney to fossick for gold to be possible some minerals need to be in ground i.e.
quarts feldspar iron what are peoples thoughts on the particular rock formations in this area and it potential of producting good

Brought myself. Nokta gold finder still learning how it works seems to have some good coverage and specific depth would love to hear from others who have used one

What type of prospecting are you wanting to do, detect or pan / sluice. To keep you busy and off the streets check out the earth resources website and learn where you can and can't go. Hi all.
Im a newbie from Goulburn NSW and looking to start getting out hunting the yellow and gems when life permits. Have started watching YouTube and following a few channels which have been very helpful. Looking forward to gaining some more insights here on Prospecting Australia.
