new ideas on moding my sluice

after a good return at a location at a near by creek (now flooded with water after the rain in Victoria).
I am keen to modify my sluice to get a better though out put. at the moment I have a 50 inch river sluice keen to made it a high banker or an trommel over the top.
any suggestions on how to do it I seen a site with mikes hand trammel pvc piping with a few buckets and mesh. any one made one over there existing sluice.

or should I just buy one? if so where do I go?

Where are you mate?
Perhaps look at other peoples bankers and incorporate their ideas.

Hi Occasional Panner.
at this stage I only have a river sluice. after spending a total of 8 hours classifying and filling buckets the walking 30 meters to the river to ruin the material though the sluice and getting a good number of gold, well when you work it out about 1.2 tonne on material for x amount of gold its a great spot.

if I have a trommel or a high banker with an electric pump for water. the 8 hours would be down to 4 hours and we all know more material we process more gold we get.

I have made an pvc trommel (mikes trommel) just need to get a electric water pump do a few mods to the sluice to catch the material.
plans are to take it out on long weekend next weekend.

BTW you can get 12v bilge pumps cheap on ebay.

Use a normal camera set it to small size 640x480 and they don't need to be resized
If it is a river sluice maybe build a stand alone trommel that pours into a bucket then just bucket to sluice be the easy way
