New icon button thingies at top of page

I just dont like the fat bar at top of the screen, the same as i dont like other software trying to offer/install toolbars to use.
But i am one tiny grasshopper so........

You don't like quick and easy access to search, forum home and private messages? Think of the possibilities

I do appreciate the feedback even if it's not in agreeance with the change. I'd prefer people to speak up about issues they're having so I can try to resolve them as I'm not able to test every device and web browser.

Sure it may look like a fat bar right now but that's only because it's new to you, give it a little bit of time and see how you feel.

What if it was made hidden, to access it just have to tap an icon like the screen up arrow on the the right hand side?

Alright guys, given the feedback I've received so far I've decided to unstick the top menu. The icons are here for the long haul however the menu wont scroll down with the page anymore. Personally I loved the idea but I guess I can live without it

Ok that seems to have fixed it nugget it's all good now. Speed is fine as well. It must be something with that floating routine and the iPad browsers.

It's alright mate, I had actually fixed the issue but decided to revert back to the non fixed menu to keep the piece. It's no biggy, I'm glad its loading better for you.

Agreed, I use Firefox and Chrome/
I have a Nexus 7" tab running android.
Mrs has an ipad running the obvious.

All fast and good.

Yeah definitely something to do with the way the browser was rendering the page with position fixed element. Must have been thinking, oh crap what do I do with this lol.

Just loaded the forum on my Nexus 10 tablet using my mobile as a hotspot, all loaded at decent speed for me, post box looks fine also. Works fine on my HTC One also.
