Hello there - I am a Sydney Mum of 3 school age kids who LOVE watching the prospecting and fossicking shows on Foxtel.
They are nagging me to take them fossicking. We went panning last school holidays at Hill End and it was fun and nice to be outside.
I am keen to take them again on a family road trip - to do some saphire fossicking (Well, Mum is interested in the saphires and other gems) - and it was suggested to me that we go to Grabben Gullen Creek and Tuena in NSW nearish to Crookwell.'
What do you think?

I bought them all a rock tumbler for Christmas.

What locations can we drive to in NSW to do a family fossicking trip and also where can we find a guide or formal tours that we can also take the kids on. (Kids are 11,12 and 15)
