The other looks like a belt buckle with a bird on it like a swallow.

Is that made from gold? Is it heavy?

Yes its Gold quite thin and yes a little swallow! Just using the $2 for size reference.

it seems to be the same design that is used for men's neck ties in stores hanging on a rack,tho they are plastic.
be interesting if some-one can pick it.

Either way, its a pretty cool find being gold, nice one. The end of the buckle looks like it could be for hanging something, way too small for a belt buckle.

Yeah I was surprised to find it! It was amongst the rocks and sand beneath a storm-water drain on the beach, much deeper sand exposed than normal as the wet weather has washed alot of sand from the drain so there were a bunch of coins and not too much rubbish. It must be pretty old too it it very worn!

I tend to agree with Martin but also add maybe a shawl or a stole clip-buckle
