Set it up for a quick test this arvo..

Jet holes cross fire a tad high, still worked fine..

Opened up for easy access to sluice at end of run..

Set up was pretty easy, I just made a flat pile of fines and seated it in, it didn't sink.
For a 90 minute run this would have to be the my worste ever lol..

but..
nearly all gold was caught in the top boiler section, only the last section
had a few colours in the mat. it means sluice was to steep and to much
flow, all good. no leaks with pipe joints, no material or water escaped
from hopper, pump ran fine, will be on idle in future.
no complaints, for a piece of plastic..it kicks a55!!

Rivets on hinge popped when I was carrying it out last dig, bit of
a mission getting top little nuts n bolts in but all good..

Silicon didn't last holding level vials on, screwed in and changed
posi of sluice vial for protection..

Bought grunt luggage straps for $10 at Bunnings..

The back-pack-banker(ultra light) lol

That is awesome. Was thinking of doing something similar. Have a large family and small budget. Lol. Looks great and light weight. Great work

ps..Bunnings actualy sell a 1 piece long draw for the sluice same as the ones I joined(same colour)...enjoy
