Was down at the local dept. of mines getting some information and the field worker put me onto the mines online website. Has anyone actually used this site and got it to work. I have tried wit internet explorer as this is the preferred browser for this site but I only got the message that the map was unable to load. Am I doing something wrong or is this site uts.

Use Chrome Browser.
Internet Explorer is old and outdated, and no longer being supported. Microsoft has Edge, but if that doesn't work, try Google's Chrome.

I use Firefox and it works ok. The site is a bit of a pig to navigate tho.

Think you need 'silverlight' installed on your browser to use the site, cant do this on Edge or Chrome (or it won't work properly, or something)

No use to me but FYI it works just fine with Waterfox v56.0.3

Just checked and yeah, Firefox ok. Just takes a little while to load from that front page. (and we've got 80mbps down here.)
