It is a pity the Algoforce AF1500 is currently sold sans coil ( and is sold out :) ).

If a newbie didnt have to worry about buying a coil separately ( no biggie for experienced detectorists but a bridge too far for your 1st detector) then it would be easy to recommend it as it is no harder to use than a Nox and is PI but with identification, even if not silent discrimination.

With a Sadie it would be $2600 new which is a bit more than double a GM new but only a bit more than 1/2 SDC new.

That's encouraging to hear - I hope it's going to be a big success story for the team involved.

I'd imagine that smart dealers will be looking to put together complete packages for newbies, to make their first PI detector purchase a simple one-stop-shop transaction.
