Minelab GoFind40 Finds 10g Black Gold Nugget

No matter what detector you have, there is always a chance. Especially for that big one.
Doesn't hurt to try if that is all you have.

I was visiting my friends who told me they found something black and heavy but were not too sure. I gave it a good rub and could see colour so told them to soak it in HCL acid as it looked like the famous black iron coated nuggets I have heard of.
Sure enough it was. Found no more than 2 inches down with the Minelab Go Find 40. Both guys were out and one had a NOX 800 and the other GoFind. How cool is that? lol
He who walks over it shall receive.

Mind if I ask what state in Oz they found it? I've just bought a Go-Find 66 and would like to give it go.
