Afternoon all, and thanks for allowing me to join the forum Soon to be retired and looking forward to trying out some prospecting now that work won't get in the way so much. I had my interest sparked by a visit to Bullumwaal in Gippsland and being shown some of the old mines etc. I figure apart from the possibility of finding something of value it will allow me more exercise and exposure to our wonderful country. I'll check the FAQ's and get some information regarding suitable detectors for a complete novice. Mac
