Thanks guys, sure is good to be able to detect again after the run of injuries I had last year. Got out this morning I was meant to meet a fellow member at a park across town but I went right when he said on left (blond moment) anyway spent an hour there before the penny dropped. When I returned to my car I realised I had left my lights on. Bugger. Some council workers were near by and gave me a push start. Thanks guys. So I went to the other park but old mate was nowhere to be seen, had a scratch around for 2 1c pieces.

got the ear bit first with the stone piece about 6 away then the complete one about 10ft away. Cheers.

Got out last Friday to a park I have hit before, this time I searched in lines 90deg to last effort completing the grid.

Saturday morning I revisited a 1800s park. 3 florins & what might be some sort of musket shot
