Map help (WA)

Hi all hows everyone?Sorry I haven't posted in a long while,for 3 months now I've been having trouble getting my head around the tengraph maps,iam not pc savvy infact iam only using my ph Android to download maps,iam looking at going to WA goldfields and wanting to make sure iam detecting on the right ground and not trespass anyone's lease.what iam asking for is some hands on help with marking out gold ground am desperate for some help please,I live near Toowoomba,would their B anyone near by or am willing to travel to Brisbane.thanks in Advance

Hi Rainbowgold, just get Trilobite app, it will show you everything you need to know for prospecting legally and it's quite user friendly.

Rainbowgold, On the top right of the Trilobite screen you have Manage Downloads. The program is useless without this data but about the best you can get once you've downloaded maps, tenements and gold locations.



However you will have to pay a small annual subscription.

Yes I've gone through all those geoligy maps,iam having trouble with copying maps to kml file and also I don't know how to copy my trails and to where I suppose to put them in.thank mate for ur help

You don't have to worry about following the geology maps or copying kml files. If you are looking for legal ground to prospect on then you need the current tenements and that should be updated near the time when you need it.



The tracking remains on your screen so no problems there.

that's exactly how ours works as well, very easy, no need to try and make it more complicated, you can put the Geo maps in one of the layers and the tenements in another layer turn on the "Save Tracks" and head out, to easy

If your using Apple you can save your google earth kml trails to the files app, then open the kml file press the square with the up arrow and send it to trilobite, if the trilobite icon isn’t showing scroll right and tap the last button to bring up a drop down list and the app will be there.
Its worth making a folder in the files app to backup and delete old trails off the app, a bit of housekeeping will make the app run smoother, just make sure you save it to iCloud not the device.
