Heard about this on the radio today. Thought it was some sort of joke but then found this on Time website. Greens BS at its best/worst. Thankfully commonsense prevailed & P.E.T.A dropped the complaint but originally the RSPCA were following up on it  .I respect what the RSPCA do but those involved in this need to lock themselves in the outhouse along with the P.E.T.A morons who complained & give themselves several uppercuts.
Maybe if P.E.T.A are going to make silly complaints like this they should rename themselves P.I.T.A (Pains in the Ass).

Australians Are Trying to Decide if Its O.K. to Swear at Sheep

Activists say that sheep don't like being verbally abused

http://time.com/3891987/sheep-swear-swearing-bad-language-australia-cursing/?xid=emailshare

I like the station owners last remark - Well continue as normal, he told the ABC.

Political correctness bordering political insanity. Some groups must be more brain dead than a peanut on life support, and that's what us normal human beings have to put up with. Next they'll want farmers to sing the sheep a lullaby before they go to sleep at night so they don't have bad dreams. :| What's the world coming to.

Wal

I swore at a couple of trout that were giving me a hard time over the last few days. Mind you swore more at the bloke i was fishing with because he caught more!!!

Thanks for highlighting this topic fellas I grew up on a sheep farm and never realized they spoke English. I always figured any animal that ran flat out into a fence only to get back up and do it again must be BRAIN DEAD.how silly was I.thanks for clarifying this for me P.E.T.A. that would explain why I kept busting the sheep playing scrabble in the back paddock :|

There was only one time a animal spoke back to me, and I was that drunk I couldn't string two words together to reply!!!!
WTF, if these '*********s' wanna blow tax payers money on idiotic time wasting crap like this, I could save us all from wasting precious minutes out of or lives in reading their dumbassed statements, give the money to me and I'll set up a 125 acre prospecting lease where all forum members can come and play, and I'll do a study on how good dirt feels after having a 'high banker bath' after 2.7million years, roughly ;)

For F#$ks sake what is this world coming to I still can't believe its true after reading the above article. Wake up to yourself its alright to swear at cops and and anyone you like in this country but not at animals. We have mass killings, rapists and pedophiles and this mob of idiots waste peoples time with this crap. I'm starting a minority group that has the right to enjoy this country without morons telling me were I can fish, camp, bushwalk, 4wd, prospect and hunt. I'll call it "Common Sense" as it seems common sense is a minority in this country. (I wonder if a can get some tax breaks and Government assistance.)

Baa baa haha!
I still think I'm more offended by the complaint than by the sheep are of the language.
My uncle will get a laugh after winning Sydney grand champion this year.
Seriously out of touch. I'll put more down later about these animal activists.

This reminds me of the time I asked a cattle farmer does his dog have a problem getting into the dog box on the side of the trailer?

His response was that he never complains...

I had to laugh myself as I left myself wide open but he was spot on with his answer.
