Magpies have a very good memory and if you treat them nice (food) they will remember your face and not try to take your eyes anymore.

I went out and made friends with the local 3 that used to bash me on the way to the post office each day, they now attack people walking just in front or behind me and leave me alone.

Proper hate the postie though, he gets FLOGGED!!!

Same here Clegy, it's amazing to watch them swooping other people when I'm detecting and they just totally leave me alone also. They definitely can recognise individual people. :Y:

Where I work at the local school I can walk within a meter of them and don't seem to notice me it's a different story with the kids though.
