Nightjar. I was lying about needing kneepads for under the house. I really need them as I spend about 2 hours a day kneeling on the rocky ground in the Golden Triangle, praying that the next beep I'm about to dig up, is not the 175th bit of bird shot that I've found today, and will actually be a piece of gold!

That's NOT FAIR, Clean out the Gold and us Non E1500 ( Algo) users will still think there is Gold still there, as the place has not been done over ( finding lead shot).

He Lives in Perth and most likely detects in North WA, which we will not be going to this year ( but SWMBO is Nagging with her 6K all ready)

Does anyone know how to keep kneepads in place? I bought an expensive pair, as I got sick of my old pair twisting on me when working under the house' Well, the dearer ones are nearly as bad as the cheap ones. Is there a solution to this problem?

I wear leather gaters for snakes which come to just below my knees. They stop the knee pads dropping down. I use the blue ones with two velcro straps. Never a problem.
