Forgive me if I'm doing this all wrong. At age 43 I've been wanting to go detecting for as long as I can remember. In the last twelve months I've purchased a second hand gpx 4000 and been out twice. When i got home from my first trip the wife asked what did i find cause she couldn't wipe the smile off my face. If i knew how to post photos i would share them. I showed her all the bits of wire,horseshoes,projectiles and other bits of rubbish i found and she laughed at me. Anyway. Ive never been involved in any kind of forum and from what ive read so far on this site i have chosen a very friendly and informative one. Thank you Joe

All she wants to see is a fist size nugget ..... so that is what I am chasing, who am I to argue.... and i am enjoying every moment of it even got a good horse shoe and old tool collection taking shape
