If ya around Kalgoorlie this weekend and not swinging a detector,unusually hot at the moment anyway,we pulled the pin at 2 today,36 on saturday,theres an event on at perkolilli lake out near kurnalpi turnoff,historic cars and bikes( pre 40s) racing on the salt flats,im popping out on sat for a squizz as the boss is doing volunteer ambo work on the day,looks like a great event for the outback......

Seen some footage on fb today nanjim,whole bunch of classics out there rolling in,past a few yesty heading back in from detecting,3 real old inter trucks near kanowna belle....

Few pics as requested,bit pressed for time today i was only there for a cuppla hours,lots out there camping,they were out there in droves,planes,bikes or cars,they got there,what a great event,some amazing old cars and bikes to be seen.....

Probably like that all day,alot of people out there,i was quite surprised at the size of it,bloody awsome,ran into some friends camping the night when i was leavin,they talked me into a beer and a chat,well be doin the same next year......
