Kevin Hillier - The finder of the 'Hand of Faith' died last week -

Sadly, we have to advise that Kevin Hillier has lost his battle with cancer. He passed away the evening of Thursday 15th May, surrounded by his loving family . Kevin was a great PMAV member and such a wonderful ambassador for prospectors. He was also a dear friend. He had requested that his ashes be spread at the site of his Hand of Faith find. We will liaise with his family to make this happen and prospectors can give him the send-off he deserves. In the meantime, Kevins funeral mass is to be held at 11am on Thursday May 22nd at St Liborius Catholic Church, Panton St, Eaglehawk. RIP Kevin.

A great bloke. Kev was initially known as 'George' the 'anonymous' finder of the Hand of Faith. Why "The Hand of Faith" name. Kev quoted this passage:

"And with faith His hand shall be extended to bring praise, honour and glory to His holy name".
