Just gave my home made high banker a run on the long weekend at oallen ford
Met some great people that had to come and look at my monstrosity
And got some great advice as well
We ran on Saturday and cleaned it for a little colour as the lads said would happen
Then returned on Monday and reran the tailings with a different mat set up with better results
So all in all a great start to this addictive hobby
And great to see how friendly everyone is that has high bankers
Can't wait to go again
And meet more great people
Cheers Mudguts

Welcome aboard Mudguts, it sounds like a great start to a long and successful high-banking career :D

I look forward to seeing some pics of your home made rig and hearing tails of your upcoming outings.

Best of luck.

Cheers,
Nugget

Welcome to the forum Mg, The "Forde" can be quite challenging with the wrong type of mats. Glad to hear that the return trip was more successful. "Flour Gold" will test the best of the Bankers and Oallen has some of the finest.

Hope the forum can steer you in the right direction, and look forward to reading about some of your achievements. Best of luck out there on the stream.

Cheers Wal,

G'day Mudguts and welcome to the forum
I believe we were one of the groups out there on saterday, though I think Mark was asleep in the car when you guys arrived
You guys had a great looking highbanker glad to hear you found a bit of colour and are on your way to getting it running smoothly :D
Lots of great helpful people here.

Hope to see you at the ford again soon.

I can't wait to get my hi banker up and running. I'm currently building the one that Walnliz use. With no experience whatsoever with hi banking I'm hoping this design will turn the tide of my gold recovery.
