Jim Stewart Passing

I'm just letting everyone know that Jimmy Stewart passed away last night. Jim lost his battle with cancer that he has been fight for about 12 months now. Jim was a ledgin in prospecting, starting out here in Victoria at the beginning of detectors. He bought the Laanecoorie Lake Side Caravan Park (were we just had the Gold Bash last weekend) on gold he found over the years. This will be a big lost in the prospecting communities and for those that had meet him knows him as a great guy and a rough Diamond.
Rest In Peace Jim I'll miss you heaps.

It's always sad to hear of someones passing and although I didn't know Jimmy personally I'm sure he'll be missed by many.

Jim's funeral is on tomorrow, Friday 25 October at 1.30pm at the Doveton Park Funeral Centre, 1251 Doveton St North, Ballarat and then onto the Creswick Cemetery.
It would be nice if as many of us could turn up to say our last good byes and give Jim a good send of.
