I'd like one that grids up and tells you if you missed a spot. A clock and a machine hour meter would be great.

Also a rake handler would be good but I'll settle for boots with a sturdy thick sole that's comfortable and are able to be worn all year round, heating on the cold days cooling on the hot ones.
 
Settings suggestions based on a few basic inputs like weather, ground type, location, gold depth, type and size.

Sounds Like a Guitar Amp, Lol

I want one with an Alnico Speaker and a standby switch so it's ready to go detecting at a moments notice and multiple Coil sockets.

This thing about Whites has been going around for a while, I will believe it when I see it, So far they have just started talking about the MX Sport and Still NO manual GB push pads but the Grabs does away with that to a certain extent by just not lowere the coil to the ground when GB'ing, but I would still like to see the push pads.
 
I got some inside information on the progress of the new detector we all believe is being built

.... it will be released after they sort out a minor little static electricity problem.

My dream SDC !

3030 / 7000 type body and screen with user interface. Give me some more control of this little beast!

Interchangeable coil options. 8" 11" 14"

Wireless capability for audio.

Water proof.

Make it so the detector can be dismantled easily for transport.

Software upgradeable.

I love my SDC but firmly believe it could be improved greatly. The current go anywhere fold up construction has its place, but obviously many of us would appreciate a more refined and ergonomically improved detector in the MPF technology platform.

Just dreaming though!
