I think if you have beer you be OK :)

Little bit on the balmy side up there by the looks of it.. Think i would spend a few more hours in the restaurant.

Cheers Wal.

I remember those heat waves in the pilbarra. Seen 63 degrees measured a foot above the ground too. Scary knowing that if you lay down you'd be cooked! 50 degrees is no fun for prospecting. If you've been in the region for a couple months (acclimatized) you may cope with it but I don't think anyone enjoys prospecting in that kind of heat or least I wouldn't. My next question is how many of you prospect at night? Guessing areas where mine shafts are present might be bad idea.

I coin shoot and beach hunt at night.
No prospecting tho, I like to see what's about to eat me.

Wholly Mc, I though 36 to 39 was bad enough. Mind you would be ideal for scuba sniping after watching Wal's video :)

I was panning in a small trickling stony creek on the weekend, had about 30cm deep water about 2m wide, by 12 o'clock the water was very warm. The temp was 32 degrees at 9 o'clock but where we were you can add an extra 3-4 degrees because we were in a steep hollow. Found omly a few specks, Buggar.
