Hello from Qld. As a child I 'rockhounded' with my Dad...for Agates mostly, thunder eggs & beach polished in Oregon, USA. I've been in Australia for 15 yrs now & miss being able to walk a beach or creek and find agates...I'm hoping someone can tell me where (in this country) I might be able to do so, or similiar...I am restricted by not having a 4-wheeler (all I've read about Agate Creek seems to indicate off road a must). Hoping to plan an Agate trip for my next birthday in March. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Gday Salauz, welcome to the forum, I thought agate was everywhere in QLD, washes down from the great divide ,.... I could be mistaken on that thought though. :D
