Hi Joao,
Nice pictures, say, the bus has some potential!! Just add a comfortable chair on the front porch and it would be just like home sweet home ;) .

I love you new picture too, but you need to add some corks on string around your hat to keep the flies out!! A very aussie tradition

Hi mate,

Which is the best place to work with metal detector in search of gold nuggets in Australia?
Kalgoorlie ? leonora ? where ? :(
Thank you my friend

hi JOAO, many places my friend. W.A. can be very good. Victoria - the Golden Triangle- is still producing big nuggets. N.S.W. can be good too. try google for Aust. gold fields. cheers. :)

For your reading Joao. it seems that the biggest pieces of gold found in Aust. are from the golden triangle area in Victoria. the biggest producer of gold is W.A. as you suggest.
there was a very large and active chain of volcanoes in areas of Victoria that may have contributed to such formation of the vast gold reserves. cheers. ;) http://tww.id.au/family-history-wills/lists/gold.html

Ballarat Victoria. 1 st January 2013. 177 ozs.

the formation of such a huge piece of gold is amazing. the geology of the area bears investigation.

Joao,

Mate gold is everywhere in Australia, it just occurs in large patches. Every state has goldfields, some richer than others.

Heres a good site with an overview of some of the states, follow the links on the left of the page:

Have a look on the forum here:

A good starting point for your Australian adventure would be Cairns, its surrounded by goldfields, they also got wolfram and tin. Cairns it was originally established as a port for the goldfields, heres is some research I did when I arrived here for work back in April:

If you come to Queensland I can take you to a few good spots.

Cheers,

Grant

Ho Joao,
I have noticed you don't have private messages activated. If you go to the top of the page and click on profile then click on privacy and tick the box that says receive private messages and click on submit you will be able to receive private messages from the members. It will appear as a Message button under your picture next to the email button. When you receive a private message you will see a number at the top of the page on the left on the message button (looks like a comment box with three dots in it). I have a file i want to send you when you have done this.
