Huge EL at Beaufort area

169 sq kms this lot want to tie up. They day the 1st 12-18 months they plan to raise funds to do the actual field work. They also day while the area covered by the exploration lease is big they only plan to target some smaller parts of the area covered, although they don't know where yet. Objections close Friday I think it is. 1st I heard about it was earlier yesterday. Anyway that's another chunk of land that will no longer be accessible if this goes ahead.

In Victoria an EL doesn't restrict anyone fossicking/prospecting in that area Chewy.
As long as you have otherwise legal access to the land then it's all good mate :Y:

When looking at the web site it looks like they are in the initial process and information steps. Should there research and test results prove favourable, then I would expect them to take the next steps regarding the set-up of a mine. It looks like they will need to have significant community acceptance, including local land owner permissions, just to take out the research. They look to be planning this over a 5 year period at this stage.

It is interesting that the company involved looks to be from Norway.

From the website details they are planning to invest a lot of time and potentially money in just exploring the land in search of a locale/s worth mining. I say good luck to them. A big gamble.
