What do I use to clean up the stains of algae moss and mineral dirt stains off of milky Quartz ? Will soaking in vinegar or bi carb soda be any good ?

Use a scrubbing brush and water yet?

Check Bunnings for the stuff they clean concrete driveways with - I think it's carbolic acid. I didn't have all that much success with it but mine didn't come from a creek so yours might respond better. Probably worth a shot.

Dunk it in that for a day or 2.
Then just hit it with some water and a scrubbing brush.

Quartz doesn't clean in hydrochloric acid very well you get left with stains still and oxalic acid from a hardware removes the stains. Don't use acids if you don't know what your doing, put up with dirt rocks mabey instead
