CB, I have to admit that there was an element of satire in my telling of the hot dog vendor story,
I did a quick look on the internet and those vendors seem to have escaped being recorded. There is no photo of them on the State Library or Powerhouse museum catalogue. I'll have to dig a bit deeper.

Top idea, what about a hot dog stand "over" a higbanker, you can be banking for gold AND selling hot dogs to any passers by! The GOLDDOG, you can even sell Golddog prospecting equipment at discount prices. Its a winner! Im thinking a new detector called the GD 5000, its hot diggedy!! lol

I had a bad experience with a kebab not that long ago, the one on Victoria Rd in Sydney..open very late. Drove past at 4am after dropping the wife off to work (yep im a sucker) and thought...mmmmmm im hungry. Tasted great, no drams, then woke up about 3 hours later and non stop spewing from both ends for the next 12 hours. Never had that sort of reaction even from street food in Asia. I am now a wary man about Kebabs, still love em but eat with caution if not from a trading SHOP that turns over their merchandise!
Methinks there's a few blokes on here been out swinging in the sun too long !......lol :/

Mobile booze!!! Would we ever find gold or return home for that matter...lol . The mrs would kill me not to mention what some of your lovley ladies would do to me
I bought a case home in my wagon last trip walk 1km home with it and the 1st 7 were boys... practactly had to scull... cant realy remember what 8 n 9 were...lol I might approach the pub and see if they will do a prospectors special!!! It less than a km away. They do great meals cheap az.
