I was born in 1905
My farther was german
My head only weighed 18.8 grams
But it came off at 720meters per second.
African farmers where huge fans of my work.

Not the 7.62 or the brenneke.
It is metric and its never been used for military purposes.
But it is a bullet.

The spritzer
The 7.9x57mm (.318" diameter bullet) was developed in 1888 for the German bolt action Model 88 Commission rifle. In 1898 that rifle was replaced in German service by the familiar Mauser Model 98, and in 1905 a spitzer bullet of slightly larger diameter (8mm or .323") was adopted using the same case. This cartridge was the famous 8x57JS, which became a world-wide hunting cartridge that is still popular to this day.

The 9.3x62mm
We have a winner.
It's my favorite.
That an the 22-250.
Conceived by the mind of one otto bock in the
Year of 1950 for the purposes of hunting african planes game.
Non military meant no millitary ammo bans and enough boot to take
Most game for food in a reasonable price bolt action rifle. As
Most game rifles at the time were expensive doubles out of reach of the
