Fact is that on day 1 Hitler only congratulated German medalists.
He was advised to congratulate all winners or none at all.
From day 2 he congratulated no one.

The President of his own country, F D Roosevelt refused to acknowledge him and never sent him a telegram as all other athletes received.
Jessy had to go up the freight elevator to attend a dinner for returning athletes.
Wasn't allowed in the front door of the venue.

After the invention of photography, primitive aerial photographs were made of the ground from manned and unmanned balloons.
