For all the Dino buffs.. I've just flicked the TV over and stumble across a fascination show called Planet Dinosaur, looks quite interesting.

It's on GO! Newcastle, not sure about everywhere else. Started about 15 mins ago.

Nugget.

Me too.

Not sure about these shows though . For instance how do the palentolgists know what clour or texture their skin is.
How they establish their Eye clour
How do they know what sound they made instead of menacing roars & growls they may well have whistled Dixie

Pete

A time machine duh

I know what you're saying, I think the same thing.

Nugget.

For any history buffs, Tony Robinson's Time Walks is on ABC today 16th April at 3 pm.

Tony Robinson discovers the real story of Melbourne isn't found in the grand tree-lined boulevards or boomtown architecture. It's hidden down the lanes and alleyways.

Struth that's all you need.

Over here they call him the poison Dwarf, because detectorists invite Time Team to their site and that Git gets the Arkies to get them heritage listed and then they loose the Fields/Sites

I wouldn't pi$$ on him if he was on fire,

john

I have heard a lot of negative comments about him from people in the UK. All we get of him in Australia is Time Team and Baldrick.

Him and that mick aston use to get invited to sites by detectorist etc and they use to pepper the place with washers to try and drive detectorist nuts so they could not detect there anymore and once or twice they even got caught on camera doing it which is illegal, Another thing is they always bad mouth detectorists calling us grave robbers etc well I have never dug up peoples remains yet they have dug 1000s, anyway they also use to call us thieves and grave robbers and night hawkers etc what tony did not know was a guy I knew struck up a deal where his mob would work on the time team digs, what tony did not know was that Guy was the one robing his digs late at night, and the guy had a team of about 6 blokes that would hit the site and strip the place, lol.

Peasents,, john

yep, if you watch some of the older time team programs you will see what they do,

I like the one where a Guy with a 705/505 find a Gold Noble from the 1200s coin thrown on the spoil heap in absolute perfect condition a good one of those are worth about $200,000 AUD A Gold Noble is about the size of a half a crown, just a bit bigger than a Florin.

I think it is the one at Codnor Castle, also I like the one where they dig up an American WW II Bomber.
