Welcome to the forum Sean. Great to see some locals getting involved and the Canberra connection growing. A lot of Canberra prospectors get out to the ford on a regular basis, and it's a great location for a chat and to compare techniques.

I'm brand new to all of this, but find it awesome that there is a canberra connection - just down the road from me in Adaminaby. Considering there are so many canberrans it'd be great to one day head out with someone and see how its done firsthand - i ain't ever even used a goldpan yet - but still crazy excited to get out there and have a crack at it.

Sounds like we may have to organize a meet and greet session at one of the local streams with a BBQ lunch, and some panning / high banking. See what we can organize once the weather cools down.
