Hi all, I have been following the forum for quite a while now. I have found the posts all very helpful and informative. I am very much a newbie in gem prospecting with an interest particularly in Sapphires. I hope to continue to learn a lot from the old hands on the forum and can hopefully contribute something in the future. There seems to have been a real growth in new members lately so I thought why not me too. Coming from Victoria there has been limited opportunity to find many sapphires locally but I am looking forward to some weekend trips away now the kids are getting older.
