Hey ! I actually joined this Forum early this year, whilst hunting down a guy who took money from another Forums members.

The thread got closed, and I won't name the guy publicly ( see thread closed in January 2016 ).

However, I am actually preparing to get ready for a stint in the bush.

Aside from a suitable vehicle, I am going to need some solid advice about a DETECTOR ...

Of course, I'll head to the appropriate threads.

I hope to be able to not only receive, but later give back to this Forum ...

In regard to 'which detector', I've been looking at a Minelab GPX 5000.

Was following a few on ebay, and one of the sellers has just declared, he has had a total of four enquirers say, it's looks fake ( various reasons ).

Current bid sits at $3,400. ( which is around what I was hoping to find a good ( genuine of course ) 'pre-loved' one for ...

There are loads of Chinese fakes out there at the moment.

THAT 5000 finally got pulled.

I think the seller realised, he was 'looking for trouble'. But then , what do you do with it ??

In 5 days time I will have a shiny new SDC2300 ! just ordered one from Minersden Adelaide $3450 comes with skid plate and carry bag free postage. Sounded like a decent deal to me. Can't wait. Then hopefully I'll be able to post up some nice gold pictures.

It's here and works great, just gotta get my flipping Kia Sportage clutch master cylinder repair kit $48.00 so I can actually go somewhere. Went to go home from work...no gears ...finally got it into first gear and came home.
