I've been lurking around the forum for a while now so I thought I should drop in and say "Hello". Great forum, I've already learnt heaps from reading some of the many interesting threads on here. Already have some idea's in the pipeline to put my new found techniques to the test. So if I get the results some piccy's will be up.
As with many on the forum, gold'n gems are my favourite picks. Particularly opal and sapphire. For the gold I have my pan and sluice. I also like to facet stones as well (GF4) which goes hand in hand with the fossicking. There's something about taking a colourful stone out the ground and turning it into an amazing gem.
