Thanks for such a informative and friendly site. My hubby Tim, kids and myself are new to this adventure and are loving the "omg, what is that" feeling. We have had a little but of luck with a pan which urged Tim to buy a minelab eureka gold and are trying to understand all the settings, there's a lot to learn! Having a great time so far.

Welcome Brenda, you have a great machine there so I'm sure you'll be finding the yellow stuff soon, if have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Cheers,
Nugget

Hi Brenda and clan. Look forward to hearing about your finds. How cool is it living in a place called 'Snake Valley'? Sounds dangerous :)
We get plenty of snakes. Eastern Browns and black snakes. I should call my property 'Snake Flats'. Lost 1 dog and another cost a bomb
at the vet due to snakes. Don't forget to post the pics of your finds

Welcome aboard Brenda,
we used to live at Beaufort and had a fair bit of luck around Waterloo & Raglin - Your in a great location to detect. Lots of ground and also reasonably close to the Golden Triangle.
