Hi All

My name is Jamie and i am new to metal detecting.

I have just purchased a Equinox 600 and a pro pointer 35 and looking forward to testing it out around my local area.

I still have heaps to learn and are researching on the internet for places to go detecting.

I'm keen to find treasure and relics as i have an interest in items from the past.

Hope to chat with others soon and hopefully will meet some people area my area while out enjoying the outdoors.

Welcome to PA Jamie,

Research is always a good thing to find locations of old settlements/sporting grounds etc.
Old historical maps on the internet will tell you these things.
Search for them around your area. Trove is often a good resource for old maps.
