Hi, I'm a newbie to the gem world as of March last year (2014) when I moved from W.A to the awseome Northern Territory and became super interested in all the beautiful crystals, gemstones, minerals & even fossils that I've found scattered around without even having to dig just amazes me
Thankfully my friends let me roam their property n keep my finds, lol. Being out bush means most of my learning is from google, other related websites and every now n then i come across someone who has mor knowledge in this area and can ahow my finds to help i.d then properly. Anyways nice to meet and thanx for allowing me to join

What sort of stuff are you finding up there? I guess that comes with photos lol.

What phone are you using?

I use an iPhone and found that if I take a screenshot of the picture, that the screenshot will be small enough to upload.

Lol thanks Tom yeh only have an android fone and I installed the resizer app but the smallest it goes isn't in jpeg n couple other formats that are allowed for upload and I have soo many, lol.
I never set out to find a lot particular stone/mineral but I now have over half a trailer load of agatized coral, opalized peices, fossils of different types, amythest, quartz crystal points, petrified woods, Jasper varieties, pyrite varieties, rare earth, garnets, agate varieties, even a gold core sample n plenty more im still yet to fin
Id properly mostly without any digging or detector. Iv decided i either just ava natural eye for it or the universe shows me where to look.
