G'day all,
I live in bega N.S.W and wanted to ask a few questions about something i found today. it is just under 300g and appears to be a silver nugget. does anyone know if silver was found locally on a big scale in the past? it is about the size of my hand from finger tip to palm. I am assuming it is silver after researching a bit and found the ice cube test. it melted instantly when i placed the ice on the nugget.
my thoughts are that it may have come in a load of fill but it could have been in situe for some time undisturbed as well.
Anyway, it is really cool! and i would love to try and learn a bit more about it. should i clean it? what to do with it etc!!
Thanks in advance
