I am fairly new to prospecting. Brother in Victoria into it in big way, I joined him on a few trips to WA but still have less than an ounce to my name. enjoy the hunt but need to pay for gpx5000 sooner rather than later. Hoping to pickup tips on technique's and settings for the machine.

Welcome, Madman! The only way to learn your machine by practise, practise. Even if you are shown the settings you will only learn them by practise .
