Just bought a Minelab 1000 and was thinking to check out the Kilkivan area. Totally a novice - so far the finds on the beach are 2 bottle caps and a piece of charcoal. Also why would charcoal give off a high noise. Regards Rob - Live in the North Lakes region - Brisbane.
