Hi all, Fossicker form Far south Caost

I have been fossicking on the far south coast of New South Wales for about two years. I have come across smoky, amethyst and other quartz varieties. I love it but Im always wanting to learn more about my local area. Is there anyone from my area out there.

Hi Krista,
We know each other i live over the hill from town, after you reach 10 posts you can message other members on here so we can plan a fossicking trip anytime in the future whenever it suits you and your family. This is a really valuable forum, take the time to read and you will learn so much about gemstones, areas, gold and equipment etc but the best thing i've found is getting to meet lots of similar minded people that enjoy our hobby, and welcome to the forum Krista.

hi i am greg ,,just starting out in the nowra area looking about ,have been to oallen couple of times but only found small specks, i have highbanker ,and a garrett at gold detecter would be keen to meet like minded people as only new to the area,,have 4x4 will travell,,, :

i go to oallen every chance i get also i have an area at araluen that i want to get the detector in so when i am heading that way i will drop a post on here
i will have to clear it with the owners to have a few people down there but i don't think they will mind as they trust me to do the right thing

Hi everyone I am also new to forum and a keen fossicker from South Coast, you had me at Araluen lol my old stomping ground as a child over 30years ago. Recently i had the pleasure of going back the top of Bells Creek falls absolutely stunning as children we would sit in the old large gold pans and ride the water to the bottom from about half way up,

Spoke to the owner at araluen tonight she has informed me that someone has been hitting the area i wanted to go into very hard she is not sure if there is anything left (a policeman)
However she is going to ask her son if he knows another place that we might be able to get into
I have to ring her back at the end of the week so fingers crossed he may come up with something
