Help identify?

Hi,
I was just exploring one day and came across an eroded sandstone bluff that was crumbling.
I noticed the 'soft' deteriorated sandstone had shiny flecks. I was able to separate the metal besides some dark sand and take a photo.
I was just wondering what it could be? Thanks in advanced

Gold is gold and looks same in all light just like gold, shiny and its not gold

Flakes of pyrite there. Known as fools gold, but I dont think itl fool you twice.

Yep pyrite for sure.

I would say you have a nice pile of mica. You should be able to easily scratch a piece with you finger nail, and when rubbed between finger and thumb should flake apart.
