Hi folks just a quick note of introduction from me Pete,,I live on my Claim up ere at Mt Britton, sth west of Mack-eye. Reasantly got a sd2200d modifyed from the Man in VIC. Hav'nt found any nuggets with it yet but that wont stop me from trying(allways was a slow learner) I am out here(Mt Britton) a lot of the time, been no rain yet so hav'nt been able to do any sluice work. Am waitin on arrival of a Coiltek gold magic wheel so I can have a play with that in the dry times, would love any feed back about these wheels if any1 has any? I love a good yarn so don't be frightened to drop me a line , cheers,,Pete.

Welcome to the forum Pete. I've got a few mates with modded 2200's from Woody, and they swear by them down in the GT. Yours will certainly sniff out those elusive little buggars out there on your claim. At least you're up high enough where the rain should soon send you some relief and get the dams filling.

Down here in the ACT and Southern Highlands, the creeks have stopped flowing and the price of Air Con units is going through the roof
