hello from cairns

Hey guys a newbie to the group and prospecting does the cairns group still meet up?? As im keen to soak up as much knoweledge and info as i can

I am interested if anything ever came from this. My neighbour who is in his 80s told me he owned a tin mine up in the hills in his younger days and knew where the gold was. Would be nice to see if some of the old blokes could show us where before they take all that knowledge with them!
