Hello everyone from the the Great southern

I have just started this hobby and have just got an SD 2200 with all the coils and a copy of gold and ghosts 1 and 2 to start, but have been a bit busy to get out there to have a go as yet and have relocated and will be looking to get GPX 4500 or 5000.

As i am new to this i would greatly value any advice you guys could give me on the subject,is there any pointers you could give me when looking for possible camp sites as i have heard you can get washed out in some places at the wrong time of the year or places to avoid.

Any advice would be great,thanks again.

Most questions you will find answers to. Just ask for more detail if you are unsure.

Spend a few hours/days/weeks reading to gain knowledge from the experienced.

Thanks for the warm welcome Retirement Stone,I have done numerous research, so a bit of fine tuning, and i should hit the ground running,well thats the plan but then, that has been said before i bet.

I will just treat this as a hobby for now, but i hope one day i may continue to do this full- time well thats the hope,just tired of working for the man all the time.
